Lin-mei Golf Course is also known as Chiao-hsi Golf Course, which was
built in 1976 or so. It was designed by the world-famous golf expert,
Mr. Chen Chin-she. This is an internationally standard course with 18
holes, and it is the only golf course in Ilan county at the present
time. This course is close to Wu-feng-chi Waterfalls, and it has a very
good view and fresh air. The area of this course is about 50 hectares.
In back of it is a hollow land with a natural pond which is the source
of the water consumed by the course. In this nameless pond are several
green-headed ducks. In the natural woods near this course, we can find
13 different kinds of birds. So, this is a good place for bird-watching,
sight-seeing, and playing golf.
