For

look no further than Nan-Ping Street in Toucheng. Constructed in the early
19th
century and situated at the center of Toucheng, Nan-Ping Street was once
the
economic center of Lanyang Plain. The street offers visitors an authentic
look
at life in pre-modern Taiwan. It is one of the few old streets in Taiwan
that
serve as a reminder of times past.
